On Nov. 19th, in the National Palace of Culture, 3/1 Hall, BILLBOARD Plc presented the most contemporary 3D printing technology – Objet Connex 500. This is the last generation equipment which uses fluid photopolymer. After lighting up with UV light, the material hardens thus setting up the model. The main advantage of this printer is its capability of working with an accuracy of 16 microns. This provides the possibility for extremely precise and detailed castings to be printed. Upon designing the model, two materials can be used simultaneously, as they can be flexible, hard, transparent, тонирани. Besides, for the more detailed reproduction of the model, the castings are additionally colored, polished, gold-plated, silver-plated etc. This is a revolutionary technology with the fact that, by contrast with any preceding methods for lifting and cutting the material, with this technology the model is directly designed by a computer generated file.

Objet Connex 500 finds application in different spheres, such as architecture, industrial and product design, medicine, culture, jewelers industry, machine construction, education. This technology gives the possibility to design and visualize architectural projects, prototypes, matrix samples, unique single objects, models etc.

The presentation was chaired by Mr. Kalin Genchev – Chairman of the Board of Directors of BILLBOARD Plc. The present architects, designers and journalists were shown and demonstrated printed by Objet Connex 500 3D models.
